“I’m exhausted from pleasing everyone.”

Inner child, self-worth, and people-pleasing

I help you understand the younger parts of you that learned to please and perform, and give them something new to believe. The goal isn't to become someone else, but to feel secure enough to say what you mean.

“I’m burned out and creatively blocked.”

Burnout, creativity, and your nervous system

I help you calm an overworked nervous system and work with the perfectionism and pressure that quiet your creativity. Together we make room for real rest and for the spark that used to come easily.

“I freeze when it counts.”

Performance & test anxiety

Using clinical hypnosis, EMDR, and nervous-system skills, I help you steady your body and mind so you can access what you already know under pressure. Whether it's an exam, a stage, or a big meeting, we'll build a plan around your timeline.

Hi, I’m Taylor

A woman with long blonde hair smiling, sitting cross-legged on the ground outside in front of a greenhouse with a dirt and small plant-covered surface.

I'm a third-generation therapist, though I didn't take the direct route. I started out as an educator, and I was good at it, which is part of why I didn't see the burnout coming. One day I found myself on the floor of the library at work, repeating the same words over and over: this isn't normal, this isn't normal, this isn't normal and was eventually diagnosed with PTSD. I walked out of that building and never looked back. What followed was the beginning of my own healing, and it changed what I believed about therapy.

I learned that understanding your story is not the same as feeling safe in your own body. I learned that recovery isn't about becoming a different person. It's about finding your way back to yourself. That experience led me to the work I do now. I still think like a teacher: I explain what we're doing and why, and I treat you as a capable partner. But I also know, from the inside, what it's like to be the one who has it together until suddenly she doesn't.

I'm an LPC-Associate (Texas License #102867, supervised by Malton Cook, LPC-S), I'm trained in clinical hypnosis through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, in EMDR, in Brainspotting, and in Internal Family Systems, and I serve as president of the North Texas Society of Clinical Hypnosis. My style is warm, direct, and a little playful. Clients often tell me therapy here feels different. I'm a North Dallas therapist who works with high-achieving, creative women who understand themselves well and want something to actually change.

You'll probably enjoy working together if...

• You value depth over quick fixes, even when it takes some courage.

• You're more interested in changing how you feel than in explaining why you feel it.

• You're curious, and willing to try something that isn't traditional talk therapy.

• You see choosing the right therapist as more important than choosing the cheapest option.

• You're creative and funny, and you take your growth seriously without taking yourself too seriously.

• You want to be an active participant in your own change.

If that sounds like you, you're in the right place.

Maybe you've already talked about it. You've named the pattern. You know where it came from. You've learned the language, done the reading, and can explain it better than most people. And still, something hasn't shifted. Your mind understands, but another part of you keeps responding from an older story. That's where we begin.

The Unconscious

Clinical hypnosis, imagery, and metaphor help you reach internal resources that conversation alone can miss.

The Nervous System

EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic awareness help what you understand become something you can feel and live.

Creativity

Therapy can be imaginative, individualized, and alive. Your sessions are shaped around you, not a script. There are no bad parts of you that need to be removed. There are parts waiting to be understood and welcomed back into the whole.
